Evidence for a distant giant planet in our solar system (Konstantin Batygin & Michael E. Brown, 2016)
The authors provide statistical evidence for Planet 9 in the outer Solar System.

A Sedna-like body with a perihelion of 80 astronomical units (Chadwick A. Trujillo & Scott S. Sheppard, 2014).
This letter announces the discovery of "2012 VP113", a planetoid in the outer reaches of the Solar System, and provides the first hint of a still-undiscovered "Planet 9" even farther out.

Green Laser Pointers for Visual Astronomy: How Much Power Is Enough? (S Bara, M Robles, I Tejelo, R Marzoa, H Gonzalez, 2010)
The authors conclude that output powers below 5 mW provide enough brightness at reasonable safety levels.

An Astrobiology Strategy for the Search for Life in the Universe (Committee on the Astrobiology Science Strategy for the Search for Life in the Universe; Space Studies Board; Division on Engineering and Physical Sciences; National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, 2017)
A panel of researchers assembled this report at the behest of the US Congress, which asked in a 2017 law that a "strategy for astrobiology" be developed to prioritize "the search for life's origin, evolution, distribution, and future in the universe."
