Te Awamutu Space Centre is a museum and activity centre suitable for all ages. We love sharing our passion for space and astronomy but we're not just for space geeks! Most of our visitors arrive with no real interest in space but end up finding it more interesting and fun than they expected.
Adults (18+): $12.00
Children (3–17): $8.00
Infants (0–2): Free
Our exhibits and activities include:
- Information displays about space and astronomy.
- A collection of space-related artifacts and memorabilia.
- Interactive displays, games, toys, puzzles, etc.
- Virtual Reality.
- School visits.
- Telescopes, including a daytime solar telescope.
Opening Hours
We do not have set opening hours. We are open by appointment, so our opening hours depend on what bookings we have.
Important notice for teachers
We are not currently able to take any more school field trip bookings, but you can still book an online session for your class(es).
