Space Sleeping Bag
This sleeping bag was used by Soviet cosmonauts in the 1960s during the time of the Soyuz 6, 7 and 8 missions.
Eyelets around the edges are used to attach the sleeping bag to the wall of the spacecraft. Velcro is used to close the bag.
Materials: Cotton, synthetic fibers, velcro, metal, partly enameled.
We purchased this sleeping bag in 2014 from a German artist called Andora, who did some work for the Soviet space agency and was given this as a gift.
