What colour is Venus?
Short answer: White as seen from space, grey/orange on the surface.
Long answer: Venus looks like a bright white star as seen with the naked eye from Earth. Photos of Venus from space probes that have been near the planet show it to be slightly yellow but still quite white. This is because Venus is covered in clouds and we can't see the surface from space—we're just seeing the tops of the clouds.
Note that some photos of Venus show it as brownish or even completely different colours. These have either been taken in different wavelengths of light (e.g. ultraviolet), or have been processed to reveal more details.
We don't have many photos of the surface of Venus because it's such a harsh environment that it's extremely difficult to land and work on. It seems that the surface is rocky, with grey rocks similar to Earth, However, the atmosphere filters sunlight in such a way that everything has an orange tint, so Venus would all look quite orange of you were able to walk around there.
